Farewell, good and faithful servants

The congregation of Albright United Methodist Church has served its members and the community for over 50 years. As you can see below, to say that our church was “active” is truly an understatement.

  • Throughout those years, we opened our doors and celebrated many life events with you, including weddings, baptisms, and funerals.
  • In addition, we supported our local community with low-cost dinners, neighborhood yard sales, after-school programs, Fall Festivals, and Father’s Day cookouts.
  • We spread the Good News through traditional church services, Vacation Bible Schools, Sunday school, choir cantatas, and Holy Week productions.
  • Lastly, we tried to love our neighbors near and far by sponsoring homeless shelters, teen mission groups, and summer lunch programs.

With a heavy heart, we must close our doors for the last time due to the declining membership of an older congregation. We want to say a very heartfelt “Thank You” to everyone who contributed their love and time to this wonderful church through volunteering and support over the years.

God bless each and every one of you,
The Leadership of Albright UMC

“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

John 13:34–35
